If you raise BLUES, you can plan on raising SPLASH. They are a natural outcome of breeding Blues. But Splash were not recognized as a Variety until 1999. In order to have them recognized, application was made to APA, 50 birds were shown by 5 breeders at the Lake City Show and the Splash became a recognized Variety.
This little pullet placed BV (Best of Variety) Anderson, South Carolina show
with 7 birds competing. Her feathering is perfect for the Splash Variety
with a full, round crest & well feathered feet. She is from . . .guess who? Prissy & LeRoy.
